Kikuchi
Yokohama school
When I am at the reception, students will actively talk to me. Of course, we also proactively talk to them. Within this exchange, I can really feel that the students are progressing day by day. There was one Friday, when I called out to a student who was going home "have a good weekend!” The student who was then still in the beginner's level did not understand what I said and looked very confused. However, when it came to the next Friday, the student came to me and said "Have a nice weekend!” The student must have asked someone during the week and learned the meaning.
I think language is something that you can acquire by exchanging with people like this. Fortunately,
ARC also has a joint Japanese
language teacher training school, so students in the school want to speak with foreigners. I myself have also
attended the Japanese language teacher training course before, and during that time I could not wait
for a chance to speak with foreign students. The staff and teachers are always looking forward to the
day when we can communicate with you in Japanese.
