I thought this was really the Sakura country. I came to Japan in spring for the first time. Everywhere I looked was pink and blooming with sakura. The town looked so cute covered in pink. Land in Japan is very expensive so the living space is small. However, even in the small spaces such as on the side of the road in front of the house or on the side of train tracks, there will be trees lined up closely together. When I see that trees being carefully planted in each little house, I really feel like the people of this country must have good hearts. In reality, when I just came to Japan and couldn't speak Japanese very much, I was surprised when I got help everywhere from people I didn't know in the city. Everyone was really kind.
It was fun to study at
ARC everyday. I made friends from various countries. I participated in parties all the time and we hung
out together on weekends. Just recently, we went to visit the temple in Kamakura with the teacher.
During the trip, the teacher told us stories about old Japanese culture which was very interesting.
Teachers and staffs will give us consultation about life in Japan in languages other than Japanese,
too. So, even though I'm living in a country with a different language, I feel very secure when I'm at
ARC and can have a lot of fun. I even want to go to school on my holiday. I'm really addicted to ARC.
