About the students

What is the student age group?

More than 70% of the students are from 25 to 35 years of age.

How many people in a class?

The classes are small with 5-6 students on average. There is no maximum number of students.

Do you have an age limit?

This course is intended for people older than 16 years old. For people younger than 16 years of age, please consider private lessons.

About the teachers

Do all the teachers have teaching qualifications?

All the teachers are professional who have received training in teaching Japanese.

Do the teachers speak English?

Yes. There are teachers who speak English and other languages.

About the lessons

What language is used in the lesson?

All the lessons are conducted in Japanese. In general, vehicular languages such as English will not be used. The teachers are trained in this so please do not worry.

Can I observe the classes?

No trial lesson is offered for this course. Our teacher will explain about the course when you take a level-check test. Please ask them if you have any questions about the course.

Can I transfer to another class if I missed a lesson?

You cannot transfer to another class. The fee of the lesson you missed cannot be carried over. Please consult with the staffs when you pay for the lessons when you know you will miss some lessons.

What kind of textbooks do you use?

Our teacher will show you the books when you come to the school for a level-check test.

About application

What are the procedures I should follow before school entry?

Please make an appointment by phone or e-mail for a level-check test. At the time of enrollment, please submit application form with two photos. Please also pay your lesson fees for the whole term before the first lesson with cash or by bank transfer.

When should I apply?

You can start anytime as long as we have a suitable class for your Japanese level.

Can I attend the course from the middle of a course?

If there is a course that suits your level, you can join a class in the middle of a term.

About study material

Are textbooks included in lesson fees? How much are the textbooks?

Textbook fees are not included in the lesson fee. Textbooks that are used in the lessons have to be purchased separately.

Can I pay with credit card?

We do not accept credit card. Please pay with cash or by bank transfer.
