Do you have any trouble with Japanese language when travelling around Japan?
Do you wish you could manage daily situations in Japanese, such as ordering at a Japanese restaurant, buying some Japanese souvenirs, getting around by train...?
In this course, we will set up such situations in the class and you will acquire various expressions which will help you get along well in Japan. Using the expressions you learn, you will feel more familiar with Kyoto!
Don’t worry about the accommodation! We offer a “Homestay plan”, which includes classes and a Homestay as well!

Curriculum Example

Thu Subway in Kyoto
  • Buy a convenient train ticket for a traveller.
  • Ask for direction, using a route map.
Fri Japanese souvenir
  • Ask contents and function of the goods.
  • Ask for gift wrapping.

Homestay Plan

This plan includes the above classes and Homestay.

  • Homestay starts on the previous day of the starting date.
  • Your host family provides you with breakfast and dinner.
  • Application for the Homestay plan should be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the course.
  • Your Homestay will be located around 1 hour by public transportation from the school.
  • There is a Homestay application form beside of the school application form. Please contact us.
